Heating energy flexible buildings is theoretically a viable asset in district heating systems. This presentation gives an overview of the research work conducted during the FED project to realise the theoretical potential of space heating energy flexibility in single-family homes. This research involved development of technical solutions as well as engaging the value chain.

Steffen Petersen is full professor of building science at the Department of Civil and Architectural Engineering, Aarhus University, Denmark. He has substantial experience from 15+ year of research, teaching, and professional practice in energy-efficient and sustainable design and operation of buildings.
